On this page4
passcode.sh runs on a prepaid balance. You add funds, orders and rentals draw from it, and refunds go back into it.
Pay by card
- Go to Billing.
- Enter an amount between $5 and $1,000.
- You're taken to Stripe Checkout to pay. Stripe handles your card details; we never see or store your card number.
- When Stripe confirms the payment, the amount is added to your balance and appears in your ledger as a
deposit.
Funds arrive when Stripe tells us the payment succeeded — usually within seconds of paying. If it's taking longer, see My deposit hasn't appeared.
Limits
| Limit | Amount |
|---|---|
| Minimum per deposit | $5 |
| Maximum per deposit | $1,000 |
During the beta
Note
Payments currently run in Stripe test mode: no real card is charged and no real money moves. While sign-ups are on the waitlist, adding funds is also switched off for most accounts. The Billing page tells you when that's the case.
Where refunds go
Refunds for orders and rentals go back to your passcode.sh balance, not to your card. For a question about a card payment itself, email support@passcode.sh.
