Refund Policy

Draft of October 6, 2026 · Variance Ventures LLC (Delaware)

In short

if no message arrives, you get your money back automatically. If a message arrives, the order is final. Refunds go to your passcode.sh balance straight away.

01One-time numbers

What happensRefund
You cancel the order before any message arrivesFull, immediately
No message arrives within the order window (20 minutes)Full, automatically when the order expires
We can’t assign a number to your orderFull, automatically
A message arrivesNone — the order is complete

An order counts as delivered once any message reaches its number, even if the app later rejects the number or the code. If you believe a message reached your order by mistake, write to us within 7 days and we’ll look into it.

02Rentals

  • Cancel within 10 minutes of the start of a rental, before any message arrives, for a full refund.
  • After the first message or after 10 minutes, a rental is not refundable. It stays active until its end date unless you cancel it; cancelling ends it immediately and releases the number, with no refund for the remaining period.
  • With auto-renew on, a rental renews at the end of each period if your balance covers it. Renewals aren’t refundable; turn auto-renew off any time before the end date.

03Where refunds go

Order and rental refunds are credited to your passcode.sh balance as soon as they apply, and each one appears as its own line in your billing history. You don’t need to ask for them.

04Unused balance

To ask for unused balance back to your original payment method, email support@passcode.sh from the address on your account. We review requests individually and may decline where we see signs of fraud or abuse. Balance spent on completed orders isn’t refundable.

05Card disputes

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most problems are quicker to fix directly. While a dispute is open we may deduct the disputed amount from your balance and pause the account.

06Policy violations

Orders used in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy may not be refunded, and balances of accounts closed for abuse may be withheld where the law allows.
