In short
use passcode.sh to verify accounts that are legitimately yours. Don’t use it to deceive, harm or get around someone else’s safety measures, and don’t use it for financial, government or healthcare services.
01Purpose
passcode.sh numbers exist so people and businesses can receive verification codes for their own legitimate accounts — for example to keep a personal number private, to test sign-up flows, or to separate work and personal profiles. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.
02Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service, directly or through someone else, to:
- Commit fraud, including payment fraud, promotion or referral abuse, fake reviews, or deceiving any person or business for gain.
- Take over accounts or access any account, device or system that isn’t yours or that you aren’t authorized to use.
- Impersonate any person, brand or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a way that misleads others.
- Harass, threaten or spam anyone, including sending bulk or unsolicited messages from accounts you created with our numbers.
- Evade bans or platform enforcement for abusive purposes, such as recreating accounts that were suspended for fraud, harassment or spam.
- Verify financial, government or healthcare services: banks, payment apps and other financial services, cryptocurrency exchanges, government services, or healthcare portals — whether or not they appear in our catalog, and including through “Any other service”.
- Create, distribute or facilitate illegal content or activity, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities.
- Resell numbers, codes or access to the Service to third parties without a written agreement with us.
- Interfere with the Service: circumvent rate limits or security controls, probe or scan our systems, or access the Service other than through the web app and documented API.
03Our catalog
We deliberately don’t list banks, payment apps, crypto exchanges, government services or healthcare portals. The absence of a service from the list prohibited above doesn’t make a use acceptable: the rules in this policy apply to every service.
04Accounts and API keys
- One account per person unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
- Keep API keys secret and revoke any key you think has leaked.
- Respect the documented rate limits; contact us if you need more capacity.
05Enforcement
We monitor for abuse and may investigate any account. If we reasonably believe an account breaks this policy, we may, with or without notice: cancel its active orders and rentals, limit its access, or suspend or close it. We reserve the right to suspend any account while we investigate.
We cooperate with law enforcement when the law requires it, and we may report illegal activity. Orders used in breach of this policy may not be refunded.
06Reporting abuse
If you believe one of our numbers was used to harm you or your platform, write to support@passcode.sh with the number, the date and time, and what happened. We read every report.
07Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as new kinds of abuse appear. The current version always lives on this page.
