  1. Change it (you know your current password)
  2. Reset it (you've forgotten it)
  3. "This reset link is invalid or has expired"

Change it (you know your current password)

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Enter your current password, then a new one between 8 and 200 characters.
  3. Save. You stay signed in here, and every other session is signed out.

Reset it (you've forgotten it)

  1. Go to Forgot password and enter your account's email address.
  2. We email you a reset link. It works once and expires after 1 hour. Asking for a new link cancels any older ones.
  3. Choose a new password. Every session is signed out, so sign in again with the new password.

We always say a reset email is on its way, whether or not that address has an account — so the form can't be used to find out who's signed up. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder, and make sure you used the address you signed up with.

Note

Too many reset requests from one network in a short time are paused for a minute. If you've been trying repeatedly, wait a moment before asking again.

The link has already been used, is more than an hour old, or was replaced by a newer one. Request a new link.
